I kept the Beckett-to-Be blog a secret from Karla at first as well…until it had some momentum, and then it became a gift to her as well as to her family who live far away from their grandson. You’re going to adore what you’re creating here…and will never regret a second you spend blogging about your son!
Awww… that’s great! I tried to keep my starting a blog from my husband, but he walked in on me writing a post, and I choked in trying to come up with a lie. I guess lying isn’t really a good thing in a marriage anyway (unless he asks me how much I spent on shoes).
lying because this is tied to another blog.
lying because I’d like to bundle some of this together and give it to my wife and son as a gift (I’m unbelievably cheap when it comes to gift-giving; once borrowed something from a friend, gave it to my wife for eight months until she forgot about it, then gave it back to the friend — that’s way easier than trying to figure out what she actually wants.).
I agree with what you’re doing, and am considering doing the same thing. We’re pregnant with our second child and it’s a lil rougher for me having to do everything again with a 2 yr old running around. I’m going to start a blog about this experience as well. Hopefully ppl will get a kick out of it and learn from a Dad’s point of view.

Oh, I totally lie about everything in my marriage.
As a matter of fact, my wife doesn’t even know she’s pregnant. It’s all a ruse.
